                                STYLE OF ARCHITECTURE

I will incorporate modern Architecture and deconstructivism into my budling design. This includes the interior and the exterior of the building.

HISTORY OF MODERN AND DECONSTRUCTIVISM ARCHITECTURE

MODERN

Modernist design is generally credited to a variety of European architects, most notably Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier and German-American architect Walter Gropius. Gropius founded the Bauhaus school of thought and design style in Germany, which had a significant impact on modernist design. Another contemporary architectural powerhouse, Ludwig Mie's van der Rohe, was a significant influence.

This form of architecture is also structured around the use of modern technology and materials such as glass, natural wood, concrete, aluminum steel, and other metals. It also incorporates the use of a minimalistic style to portray order and a calm and subtle environment. It became popular in the late 18th century and is currently widely used in the 20th century.

                                 FEATURES OF MODERN ARCHITECTURE
Pilotis
Buildings are raised or set on a foundation of pillars (or pillars) for ground-floor circulation. This is also done to make it easier for cars to access garages and space.

Free design of the ground plan
This feature makes it easy for Architect's to design an open floor plan. This leads to the removal of weight-bearing partition walls. The end result is that it creates workability of inner living spaces

Free design of the façade
The structure is independent of the walls, allowing for more flexibility for windows and free space.

Horizontal windows
Horizontal ribbon windows run along the facade, creating stable lighting and a greater sense of space.

DECONSTRUCTIVISM
Deconstructivism came about in the decade of the 1930s-1950s It was all due to the widely known French- Algerian philosopher Jacques Derrida. Deconstructivism Architects went against the norms of Architecture. In comparison to modern architecture, Deconstructivism is about incorporating out-of-order and irregular designs. It also deals with the use of curved forms and shapes that seem to be detached from the building. Glass, concrete, and steel are normally used. This is done to give the building an unrefined look. Frank Gehry, Mark Wigley, Le Corbusier, and Zaha Hadid are among the numerous Deconstructivism architects.

                               FEATURES OF DECONSTRUCTIVISM

Fragmentation - Buildings designed in this style often appear to be made up of multiple fragments or pieces, which are designed in a mismatched style

Disjunction - Deconstructivist architecture emphasizes the separation of elements that are traditionally understood to be connected or integrated, such as floors, walls, and roofs.

Distortion - Buildings designed in this style often feature distorted or non-rectilinear forms, which can give the impression of instability or uncertainty

Materiality - Deconstructivist architects often experiment with unconventional materials and construction techniques, such as the use of exposed steel or concrete, or the incorporation of found objects and materials. This is done to give the building an out-of-the-ordinary look

  1. More research needed. You need to write this in the first person - for example, I have researched construction technology and discovered .... Include references to you posts, show what you have written and what someone else has written.
