 HARBOUR WALK AT LAKE VIEW VILLAGE




Harbour Walk in Mississauga is a project still in the works and is set to be completed by 2028. The Luxury condos will be a minor aspect of the Lake View community. 

Lake View Village will be a waterside community offering residents with day to amenities such as shopping centres, parks, and educational facilities amongst others ( Condoy, 2024).

HARBOUR WALK CONDOS

Harbour Walk is a 19-storey building which features 863 suites of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom spaces
(Torontorealtyboutique). The suites also range from 579 to 2000 acres hence potential residents have options to select based on their preferred choice. 

The condos have a 360 terrace which wraps around the building which will enable individuals to walk around the perimeter of that floor whilst enjoying the view.

As you can see from the picture above, the building has a staircase-themed design. This enables residents to have an exotic experience with a full view from their terrace. This prevents floors on top from overshadowing those on the lower floors. Besides easier viewing, this design is seen to be aesthetic and not follow the pattern of regular urban apartments.

From the picture above you can see that there are two individual towers but in the lower section the building connects to become one. 






As you can see from the aerial view image above, the building is divided into four sections with two apexes. Each of the four sections recedes towards the east, west, north and south which creates an enclosed inner space. The inner space consists of greenery and social spaces which enable residents to socialize and enjoy the scenery. At the base of the building, there are long pillars which serve the purpose of holding up the structure due to its build. 






HARBOUR WALK TERRACE VIEW 

The upper floors above the connected section have a terrace which consists of seating spaces as well as greenery which compliments the surrounding environments and promotes sustainability. The glasses are transparent and see-through whilst the terraces are white which provides contrast. 


With regards to accessibility, there are train stops as well as bus stops close by which will make transport easier for residents without cars. 



The step themed Architecture of the Harbour Walk is the main inspiration for my project as you can see in the previous blog of my finalized design. The courtyard will also feature greenery similar to that of Harbour Walk.
