It makes it possible to know about the climatic and weather conditions in a particular area. As well as getting more knowledge on the soil topography, and geographical and historical build of a region or site. This will enable an Architect or designer to make the most out of the available site and resources to produce a building with high efficiency.

                                     OVERVIEW OF THE CLIMATE IN BRIGHTON

 Brighton is a coastal town south of London located in Sussex the climate is cold, with rainy winters and mild, relatively rainy summers. The humidity is also high due to the town being situated beside the sea


Winter in this part of England is not very cold and temperatures are not very low, but the sky is often cloudy,  and there are periods when the wind blows moderate or strong. It rains often in Brighton as well
Snow is rare, but can occasionally occur. On the coldest nights of the year, the temperature generally drops to around -5 °C (23 °F), but can sometimes drop to lower values. 
In summer, temperatures are generally mild or cool. It can also rain, a little less often than in winter.


Due to its coastal location, Brighton is a little more sheltered from the heat waves that can sometimes affect the southeast of England. However, hot periods cannot be ruled out, usually of short duration. The highest record is 33.4 °C (92.1 °F) which was set in July 2022.
The average temperature ranges between 5.5 °C (42 °F) in January and February to 17.2 °C (63 °F) in July and August. 

                           THE BEST SEASON TO VISIT THE RECREATIONAL CENTRE

Summertime is the best time for most people to engage in recreational activities due to the sunny and warm weather. The summer season lasts from June to August. Hence this period is when the Seaside Bliss Recreational Centre will experience a spike and increase in the number of customers

                  PROJECT SITE PLAN A site plan is a bird's eye view sketch of a region or area. In order to enhance the site plan, an analysis also has to be made of the climate, transport and accessibility in the town or region.  The map above illustrates the precise location of the Golden Horizon Apartments. It is located in Cromwell, Connecticut directly opposite the St Elizabeth Seton Church. The area of the site is 79,119.77 m² and the total perimeter is 1,138.3 m. The site consists of four main apartment blocks, underground parking, ground-level parking, playground as well as an outdoor lounge not forgetting the garden. The image above is of vegetation that has currently been burnt down. However, in my site plan, I included new layouts of plants that will be cultivated to restore nature's balance.
